If I had to pick a favorite part, it would be when it started to really come together, and I could sit in the space, envisioning being there with my future baby. The whole thing! I had so much fun every step of the way with this room. Now that the room is complete, what was your favorite part of the process? And what do you love the most about the finished design? I can’t wait until she graduates to the crib full time so we can move it out! The way we have it setup now works well, but there is an (unpictured) bassinet in the middle of the room that takes up a lot of space. Shop Creator looks you love on the LTK app. I had to play with the layout a lot to maximize the space. The room itself is really tiny, but we needed a glider, dresser and crib. Renowned chef and cookbook author Yotam Ottolenghi created this tall cake with a beautiful surprise inside: vertical. It is the brightest room in the house, and the light pink in the decor makes the space glow with beautiful light.ĭid you have any unexpected obstacles when creating this room? The other thing people notice is the light. Megan Carn painted it for us, and it’s my favorite piece in the room! We placed it right above the crib so that he can “watch over her” while she sleeps. What is that one thing that everyone mentions when they step into this space?Įveryone comments on the painting of our dog, Boots. We used textures like grasscloth (on the dresser) and jute (on the rug) for a preppier beachy feel so that it wasn’t too baby-ish.
